Light Of Day was the first single of my 2nd album of the same name, which came out in 2004 on 20:20 Vision. It featured Rise Ashen on vocal. When It came out, BBC said : ”Whisper it quietly: Light Of Day may well have the makings of a classic dance album.” Fast Forward 18 years later, and the album was featured in the Classic Album section of Future Music Magazine (UK).
After a conversation with Manuel Tur where he mentioned to me that this was one of his all time favorites, I thought it would be great to have his modern take on it. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Manuel knows how to keep things simple and interesting with an incredible attention to details, just like his most recent releases on Freerange and Compost. Comes with a tasty Dub too!
