about

Last single before the album Love, Care, Kindness & Hope drops next month, Soul Love features none other than the UK’s legendary Stereo MC’s. Known for their hit Connected, they are still active today both in the studio and playing live around the world.

Making an album is a great opportunity to get out of one’s creative comfort zone. This track started off as a dub techno studio experiment but quickly evolved into a song idea with the help of Fred’s collection of vintage keyboards. This one called for a special, once in a lifetime collaboration, so he reached out to Rob Birch of Stereo MC’s. The two had been in touch for a few years already but the timing for a collaboration was never right. Fast forward to a time where live venues and clubs were closed worldwide, which created space for projects like this one. The result is a half spoken, half sung commentary on the current state of the world, without losing a sense of Hope.

“Is it too late to set a path straight. Can we make amends or is this how the story ends...”

New versions including remixes from Clive From Accounts will be available in the Spring 2024.
